My Pants are a Problem

Stupid Pants: Bergners
Tank: Forever 21?
Cardi: Old Navy
Necklace: Kohls

I seriously DONT get it people. I bought these new pants, fit great. Now that I've worn and washed them several times, they are too big. WTF? I bought a second pair at the time in grey, but have yet to wear them, they'll probably go back. I tried them on today ( the new ones with the tags still on)  just to see if I was going crazy, and I'm totally not. The  new pants fit awesome. The worn pair are too big and falling of now practically. And, awesomely, I wasn't paying attention when shopping to notice that these pants have no belt loops. Headdesk.

WHY ME.

It's like the effing subway commercial.

I'm just about to give up. I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear more skirts and forget all these stupid dress pants!

In other news, I went to Old Navy to try to get some shorts before they all got picked over as the warm weather approaches... Wouldn't you know it one size was too big, and the next size down I could barely button? OF COURSE. Pants, shorts I'm cursed.

But there was this really cute dress, which I for some reason cannot find anywhere on their site.(I was going to buy online using a coupon code to save money) It was around 22-25 bucks I think. It's super soft and comfy. I might have to go back...

I love this grey sweater

Jeans: SO via Kohls
Both tops:Old Navy

Preppy  casual chic, no? I'm a huge fan of the button up layered with a sweater look, I think. It seems like a quick and easy way to look pulled together.

I'm trying to figure out what other trends or outfits could be go to quick comfy looks pulled together looks... any thoughts?

No Snow Day Tuesday

Pants: Kohls
Tank: Bergners
Cardi: Old Navy

Today really should have been a snow day, but my district is the city district and even though everyone else in the area cancelled, we didn't. I was all, pssh. So I wore fizzy boots, jeans, and a hoodie to work. And nobody cared. Since I didn't post yesterday, this is Mondays outfit.

Nailpolish is a no name brand from a random non chain mall store. Happy Tuesday!

Scarf: Somewhere in London

My new scarf!

Cardi: Old Navy ( bought several on clearance for about 6 bucks.)
Scarf: Etsy
Earrings: uhh, Charming Charlies, maybe?

Ahhhhh I'm SOOO pumped about this scarf! Can you tell, since I just slammed this post with photos of the thing? I bought it on etsy, from this shop. Since the seller was international, it took a few weeks to get to me. But, I love it, so I had to wear right away when it came (which was yesterday!)

Love love love love love. Glad I bought it, it's such fun colors!

In other news, I alllllllllllmost bought colored skinny jeans at Walmart. They were only like, 15 bucks to begin with, but marked down to 11. But, I was rushing (not their for leisure shopping) and the fitting room didnt have great lighting, and I just couldn't decide on what size was best so I just skipped it. One seemed a little too tight, showing my undies line, one seemed a little too big. But seriously, they looked pretty decent, definitely worth checking out. They also have maxi skirts there, jersey, plain colors and striped, for under 15. Don't rule out walmart people!

 Flats: Payless
Pants: Kohls
Button Up: NY&Co
Cardigan: Old Navy
Necklace: Charming Charlies

Below, tiptoe, vs flat. Yeah, these pants are toooo long.

Kinda love this color! Not sure I love it with grey. I bet it would look awesome with a skirt or jeans or something...Hmm. P.S, the very last photo is the most accurate color of the sweater. Pinky salmon?

Monday, blah.

Shoes: Payless Comfort Plus
Dress: H&M
Cardigan: Old Navy

Over the weekend, bf and I went out to a nice steakhouse to celebrate Valentines Day, so I broke out my seldom worn red dress and paired it with my new red heels from payless. They are the comfort plus pumps and I swear, the are the most comfy pair of heels I've ever worn!

Today at work, my outfit was less than exciting. I didn't have time to photograph while at school, so excuse the it's dark and raining out and the terrible lighting in these photos...

Tank: H&M
Cardigan: Target
Necklace: Etsy

Happy Valentines Day

Boots: Italy
Skinnies: Love Culture
Top and Cardi: NY &Co
Heart Ring: gift from bf

Sadly, I really think I will have to sell these boots. I bought them in Italy, and I think they were a smidge on the small side already, but now they just feel really tight and narrow. So sad. I got a lot of compliments on them too!

Pop of Plaid

Flats: Wet Seal
Pants: Bergners
Plaid Button Up: American Eagle via Platos Closet
Black Sweater: Walmart
Watch: Walmart

I finally got the whole sleeve rolling thing down. That little extra pop of color is nice, especially since I'm also in black pants. I can't say these flats were very comfy today, my feet are killing me! I don't know what it was today, but my feet were just not havin it with the standing on hard tile for 8 hours today I guess.

Anyone else have shopping fever? I'm trying not to buy things since I owe money on my taxes....but it's hard! Argh!
